The first annual Free Ride fundraiser was a success with 22 riders at the launch in Matheson! Although the weather did not cooperate fully, the riders finally reached Whale Harbor, some 50 miles away after a brutal 6 hours ride and after enduring periods of no wind, rain and mostly fraternal cooperation and support.

The highlights of the ride included Andy's kite crash in the mangroves and Diego missing the Whale Harbor landing in Islamorada to continue riding alone for another 10 more miles but ultimately everybody enjoyed the experience, and particularly the arrival were they finally able to get fed and hydrated!
